The Town of Etna Green operates a water filtration and distribution system serving 275 customers. Source water is from two wells, one is located at Etna and Spring Streets and the other is at 217 W. High Street. These wells draw the water from sand and gravel formations at a depth of 62' and 164' respectively.
The water is filtered to remove iron before it is pumped into the distribution system. On average the Town uses 50,000 gallons of water every day.
